Plogger Recruitment Plan for Yancheng International Marathon 2020

Yancheng International Marathon 2020 will kick off at Yancheng Sports Center Stadium on April 12, 2020. With marathon events gaining momentum over the years, there has been increasing concerns over litter thrown during the events. In line with the principle of running a green marathon race, we plan to recruit 78 ploggers who will contribute to environment protection for Yancheng.

Ploggers, who will be divided into multiple teams, are responsible for picking up litter along the course while running until they reach the specified location. Recruitment specifics are as follows:

一、Number of Ploggers and Rules

Mini Marathon: 6Half Marathon:

Full Marathon:

Ploggers will finish the entire race in relays. For Half Marathon, six four-plogger teams will finish the race in four relays; for Full Marathon, six eight-plogger teams will finish the race in eight relays. Ploggers of the 0-5 km category shall start from the arch. Ploggers of other categories shall wait for their team members at the specified area of corresponding kilometrage where the preceding ploggers can have a rest and go to the finish point by car assigned by the Event Committee.

二、Eligibility

1、The applicant shall wear the specified plogging outfit and gear provided by the Event Committee.

2、The applicant shall be enthusiastic about environmental protection and fulfill the plogging task in a responsible manner.

3、The applicant shall be healthy and able to finish the specified kilometrage.

4、The applicant shall strictly follow the instructions of the staff members of the Event Committee.

四、Materials Required for Sign-up

1、A medical certificate issued in the past half year;

2、One or two personal sports photos in .jpg format with a size under 2MB marked by your own name;

3、Your plogging slogan (within 25 words) which should be positive and environmentally conducive

五、Sign-up Method and Time

1、Individuals may sign up as ploggers at http://shanpaotiyu.mikecrm.com/V9ArnaN. Fill in and submit the required information.

2、Sign-up time: January 5-25, 2020.

六、Announcement of Plogger List

Enrolled ploggers will be randomly assigned to teams and categories seven working days after the sign-up deadline.
